The cantilever suspension is mainly used as the connecting parts between trailer axle and suspension. Generally, anti-wear sliding bearings (with copper bush or cast iron bush), instead of leaf springs, are used as the couplers and supporting devices. It is mainly used as super heavy duty suspension for lowbed trailer.
